Employees spin their way through “The Game of Retirement” to learn how to take advantage of their financial benefits package.
Business Goal
Our client, a global power-management company, aimed to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction by offering a more lucrative, flexible retirement-benefits package. However, low awareness meant employees were not using the full breadth of services, limiting the impact of the investment. The company needed to help employees make informed decisions about their retirement-savings plans. Financial benefits is not an exciting topic to communicate.
Learning Strategy
We designed a fun, vibrant, scenario-based course with a board-game theme. In “The Game of Retirement,” employees practice making realistic decisions about their financial-benefits package. Instead of a traditional tell-show-do-review approach, the outcome of each choice provides reinforcement or corrective feedback, guiding learners toward the best decision.
