Cleveland Metroparks
The Cinecraft team arrived early on a chilly, overcast day at the Rocky River Reservation in Fairview Park, another treasure of the Cleveland Metroparks. The group, armed with buckets, gloves and trash grabbers, went to work on cleaning up trails, picnic areas, and parking lots.
The Rocky River Reservation is known for its winding trails through willow, sycamore, and cottonwoods, while the river cuts around huge shale cliffs where anglers find some of the country’s best steelhead fishing. Cinecraft Manager of eLearning and video projects, Todd Grove on the Rocky River Reservation said, “I’ve been bringing my family here for years for trail hikes and bike rides and I’m thrilled to help maintain this important part of Northeast Ohio’s culture and environment.”
The Cleveland Metroparks, formed by glaciers 12,000 years ago, currently shares 18 reservations spanning more than 25,000 acres with more than 325 miles of trails, nine golf courses, eight lakefront parks and a nationally-acclaimed zoo.
